The Lucky Jewelers Story
After working in jewelry retail for 10 years, I asked myself a simple question: how hard could it be to give clients the kind of service I would want if I were standing on the other side of the counter? That question became Lucky Jewelers in 1992.
I set out to revolutionize Main Street with a disruptive, low-margin retail model — one built on the belief that customers deserved high-quality products at a fair price. But I quickly realized that what people truly needed was something more: straightforward information and impeccable service. My motto became, and remains: "Service, Service, Service."
Shortly after opening, my brother Max joined Lucky Jewelers and together we began building a loyal base of clientele. More than three decades later, the majority of our business still comes from those same returning clients and the friends and family they send our way.
With over 38 years of experience, we are constantly innovating — creating pieces you'll love for a lifetime and feel lucky enough to pass on to your children and grandchildren. We want to be your jeweler.
Our Philosophy
Pay attention to what the customer wants.
Appreciate the fact that the customer is even giving you a chance to sell them something.
Service, Service, Service the customer.
Help the customer make a good choice in their purchase.
"This place has all the jewelry anyone could ever want. Great salespeople who want to help you and tend to your needs. They try to find jewelry that is for you, not for someone else. One of the greatest jewelers in St. Thomas!"— Nathan C., Chicago, IL Leave Us a Review
Ethics & Responsibility
Our primary business is the retail sale of diamond jewelry. While the diamond industry has historically been associated with conflict and exploitation, meaningful steps have been taken through the Kimberley Process — a certification that diamonds originate from conflict-free zones. We have always acted in an ethical and responsible manner across all of our business practices.
We do not tolerate slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labor, or human trafficking — within our business or anywhere in our supply chain. We expect all members of our supply chain to share these values and adhere to the same best-practice guidelines.
Though our diamond procurement process — purchasing from sightholders rather than being sightholders ourselves — we are conscious that an extensive supply chain with a wide geographical reach requires continued vigilance. We recognize that non-compliant suppliers may take steps to conceal their practices, and so our commitment to oversight is ongoing.
If we identify or suspect non-compliance with this Code of Conduct, we will work with the relevant supplier to ensure immediate remedial action is taken. Should a supplier fail to rectify the situation, we will cease working with them. Our future plans include enhanced due diligence procedures — both when engaging new suppliers and on an ongoing basis with existing ones.
